Leadership and Support of a team of QA Analysts migrating from office based duties to fully remote working.

Stakeholder in the transformation of the IT Department into a fully Agile environment.

Led a team of QA Analysts in a major business transformation of their core business application,  ensuring the product was delivered on time, and met all board and regulatory body requirements.

Responsible for the testing of the Welsh Language service elements of the Home Office’s Disclosure and Barring Service IT systems.

Led a strategic transformation project by leading a team consisting of multi-disciplined SMEs, Project Managers, a Business Analyst, and Off-shore developers. Managed the delivery of multiple releases of the new core system within agreed timescales and to budget.

Led a team of analysts, 3rd party suppliers and SMEs in the migration of core applications to enable branch restructure and merger post administration ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining data integrity 

Worked closely with Risk & Compliance business sponsors to deliver requirements that directly supported the company’s FCA certification

Introduced quality gateways at each stage of release and upgrade lifecycle to ensure timescales, budgets and regulatory obligations are met 

Led a team of IT Trainers and Systems Administrators in roll-out of mobile data terminals to 5,000 operational police officers and key support staff, ensuring secure deployment of devices, training and maintenance of devices was provided within agreed timescales and budgets

Responsible for covert and overt e-mail and web-based disciplinary investigations, including work for security services and counter terrorism departments

Assisted other police forces, GCHQ, Home Office, and telecoms providers to update national policies and best practices for the use of mobile data technologies 

Managed a team of multi-disciplined team of analysts, IT trainers and agency staff for all aspects of team leadership including one-to-one management, recruitment and selection, performance, resource allocation and personal development. 

Led a team of legal advisors and operational police officers to produce a database of current UK legislation, case law and Home Office/ACPO police procedures, generating a cash surplus from subscriptions of over £1 million within 18 months of implementation.
